We’ll all experience illness and loss at some point in our lives, but we generally don’t give it much thought until we’re forced to. Our society surely doesn’t encourage open conversations about either, and they’re scary topics for many. But, when we meet these fears head on, we can diffuse the stress the unknown brings and live each day more fully.

Map Your Care offers a full range of counseling services to help you soften your fears and live your best life. From the first rumbling of thoughts about your health through the end of your life and beyond, we can help you map out what’s important to you as you move through life and help provide support to you and your family along the way.

    *NEW* Therapy Groups

Group therapy can be a helpful addition to individual therapy or done on it’s own. Group work can be especially supportive for people feeling alone or isolated in their diagnosis, grief, or caregiving journey.

Our new groups will help you to build up your coping skills, decrease anxiety, depression, and connect you to others who share in challenges you also face.

    Grief & Loss Counseling

Grief is normal after a death but that doesn’t mean you aren’t hurting. Counseling can help fill in the gaps when support from loved ones dwindles or you find yourself needing more support.

    Caregiver Support

If you’re caring for a loved one with a chronic or terminal illness, chances are you’re trying to juggle several things at once. You may be tempted to keep putting your own needs last, but you won’t be able to sustain it forever. Consider counseling to boost your support system or to create your Caregiving Compass for a self care plan that will actually stick.
